I’m passionate about the impact of exercise on general health and well-being and love supporting people to achieve their goals!
Physiotherapy Career:
I have 16 years’ experience as an HCPC-registered, Chartered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and 10 years’ experience as an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist. Over the past 10 years I have worked as a Visiting Specialist Lecturer and Assessor at Universities in the South West.
Academic Achievements:
I hold a First-Class Master’s degree from the University of Brighton and a Batchelor’s degree from the University of Liverpool. I have four publications, 27 citations and three international conference presentations under my belt to date.
Personal Training:
I have been passionate about exercise since taking up tennis at junior school and I’ve dabbled in many sports over the years. After running a few marathons in my 20s, I started strength training in 2016 and became a Qualified Personal Trainer a few years later.
My physiotherapy background enables me to support people to work round aches, pains and injuries, build confidence in the gym and improve health, fitness and performance.
